We are a training practice which means we have registrars who are fully qualified doctors training to become general practitioners.
The registrars have full access to patient computerised medical records, can consult with a more experienced GP where necessary and generally have longer appointment times which enable them to spend more time with patients. Have regular sessions with one of the qualified GPs to talk through various aspects of care and have regular sessions with other trainees to sharpen their skills. We believe that the standard of care offered by the trainees is first class.
We aim to ensure continuity of care by making full use of the computer system, informal discussions and regular clinical meetings.
In addition, we also train medical students studying general practice.
If you would rather that they were not present during consultation, please let us know.
