If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel. This is to ensure adequate time to complete courses of injections you may need.
The following vaccines are NOT available at Park Medical:
- Yellow Fever
- Japenese Enchalitis
You will need go to a travel clinic for these ie. Trailfinders (Nearest is High Street Kensington).
TYPHOID IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE PRESENT TIME DUE TO NATIONAL SHORTAGE.
The following vaccines are available but not under the NHS and you will incur a cost.
Park Medical charge for the following vaccines:
- Meningitis ACWY (Nimenix) - £60.00
- Hepatitis B (Engerix B) course of 3 or 4 required - £50.00 per injection
(Total course £150.00 or £200.00)
- Chicken Pox (Varilix) course of 2 required one month apart - £60.00 per injection (Total course £120.00)
- HPV (Gardasil) course of 3 required - £120.00 per injection (Total course £360.00)
(2nd inj is given 2 months after 1st and 3rd inj given 6 months after 1st)
